- How Common is Plastic Surgery in Colombia?
Way too often, I have seen enough women with plastic surgery in Colombia that it sometimes makes me think that this is the “plastic surgery capital” of the world
Just to give you an idea….
Imagine you are walking down a nice beach near Barranquilla, Colombia
As you are walking down with the nice blue water to the side and the sun giving you warmth
You see a hot Colombian chick with long black hair and an amazing body
One of the best you may have ever seen in Colombia or anywhere else
It’s such a great sight you have to ask yourself…
Is it real?
Well, in Colombia, there are plenty of women out here with amazing bodies that are natural
Especially in cities like Barranquilla, Cali or Bogota
However, there is also a lot of plastic surgery in this country also
In fact, Colombia is one of the most popular countries in Latin America for plastic surgery
So much so that there are even non-Colombians who travel to Colombia for going through plastic surgery
And of course, plenty of horny men also who travel to Colombia yearly to enjoy some time with the sexy women down here who have plastic surgery
Perhaps you are also another guy wondering if it is worth it to travel to Colombia
And you may be thinking to yourself…
Is plastic surgery common here?
Well, a more nuanced answer is that it depends on where in Colombia you are located.
Keep in mind that the very first city that I ever traveled to and lived in Colombia was Barranquilla as described here
And in my initial few months here, I never thought much about if the girls here had plastic surgery or not
Perhaps occasionally when you see a very sexy chick in public and wonder
“is that real?”
However, during those initial months, I only had sex with one woman in Barranquilla in those days that had plastic surgery according to my notes.
And in her case, it was a bit obvious that she had plastic surgery before the clothes even came off.
And she looked great too – it wasn’t a case where the plastic surgery was overdone or anything like that.
And in my broader experience living here in Colombia, I would say that it is true that you won’t see much plastic surgeryin Barranquilla generally speaking.
And perhaps you may be asking yourself….
Why is plastic surgery more common in Colombia than elsewhere in the world?
Well, to be fair, I’m not an expert on the history of plastic surgery in Colombia.
So as a warning, most of what I have heard is from a few Colombian friends I asked before writing this article and also someresearch online
And according to everything I have encountered, plastic surgery apparently became common in Colombia around the 1980s to the 1990s
During those years, drug trafficking became an even bigger issue for Colombia and many of those involved in drug trafficking wanted more beautiful women around them
In a way, having sexier women with you was seen as a way to show off to others that kind of women you could get
Which meant that plastic surgery became more common as these drug traffickers wanted to improve their status among the people they knew
Having said all that, I would also emphasize that there is likely another element that influences the rise of plastic surgery inColombia
After all, there are other countries in Latin America that have gone through heavy amounts of drug trafficking and don’t have lots of plastic surgery
So it has to be more than just the drug traffickers and their influence
Based on my years of experience dating Colombian women, I would also say that Colombian women are more concerned about how well their appearance is compared to other women
And that concern greatly influences the women down here to go the extra mile with their appearance and get plastic surgery
Compared to other nationalities like American women, Colombian women are much more concerned about appearing the best
At least in my experience, that absolutely is the case
While in the US, it’s more common to find women who are more concerned with having academic and career success
You will find that there are fewer women in Colombia who are concerned with those career and academic success and more concerned with beauty
Of course, many American women are concerned with beauty and appearance and many Colombian women are concerned with career and academic success
It’s just that the chicks in each country tend to place much greater emphasis on one over the other in my experience
Nonetheless, some of you may be find plastic surgery on a woman to be sexy and others may not.
So the bigger question now is…..
Where in Colombia should you go if you want to meet more women with plastic surgery?
After all, the women in Colombia are not the same all over the country
There are distinct differences between women in different parts of Colombia
For example, you will find that women in Bogota do tend to be more concerned with career and academic success than beauty than in other parts of Colombia
So if you prefer women with plastic surgery, Bogota is not the best choice for you
At the same time, the women in Bogota tend to have slightly smaller bodies – smaller breasts and smaller butts in general compared to the rest of the country.
When Comparing Bogota to Other Colombian Cities….
In other cities like Barranquilla, you will not find as much plastic surgery in those cities either as the women there tend to have more naturally big bodies.
With all that said, the best city for plastic surgery in Colombia is Medellin by far. It had a much more active drugtrafficking presence a few decades back which may have influenced things
At the same time…
Women in Medellin in my experience tend to emphasize beauty more than in some other Colombian cities like Bogota for example.
Outside of Medellin, I found women in Cartagena to have more plastic surgery also.
My belief is that the higher degree of tourism in that city and the amounts of prostitutes that are in Cartagena are some of the reasons for why plastic surgery is more common there.
Final Thoughts
Finally, there is also some notable degree of plastic surgery in Cali also.
However, the amount of women with plastic surgery in Cali isn’t as much as what you will find in a place like Medellin
Moreover, it’s a bit weird that plastic surgery would even be needed in a place like Cali given that the women there tend tohave naturally better bodies
But regardless, Cali is known for its drug trafficking and I have encountered more women there with plastic surgery thanmany of the other Colombian cities like Pereira.
In Cali, plastic surgery isn’t too common but it’s common enough that it should be mentioned.
Outside of those three main cities…
You will find the occasional woman here and there has plastic surgery but it’s not as common
