- Guide to Dating Colombian Women for a Relationship
Ever thought of traveling to Colombia to start dating Colombian women for a relationship?
Flying in with Avianca Airlines to where you can find plenty of traditional, faithful and feminine women from cities like Popayán to Bucaramanga?
Sitting on a nice beach in Colombia with white sand and crystal blue waves, you have your beautiful and faithful Colombian wife sitting next to you enjoying the moment…
Among those who read my website, there are plenty of you who are not necessarily interested anymore in just casual sex but now want something serious with a Colombian woman here
Perhaps you want a nice woman who can love you and start a good family with someday
Well, before we get ahead of ourselves, it’s important to ask….
How are you going to meet a nice woman to begin with?
In my years of dating, I have met plenty of chicks who only want something casual and would not really be the ideal partner for something serious
Therefore, finding the ideal woman who can be a faithful and loving partner can be difficult at times as not every chick is able to be that
When it comes to me personally, I have spent most of my dating years looking for something casual and finally in the previous few years got tired of that and began looking for someone serious
In which some time ago I have been able to find the right person for me
So while I am more knowledgeable about how to find the right woman for something casual, there are things I noticed to be true when it comes to looking for something serious as well
Let’s break those details down…
First: Meeting Women
It’s understandable that we all don’t have endless amounts of time to meet the right woman
We are getting older and your time is limited to a degree in finding someone ideal
So similar to how to find the right chick for something casual…
You are going to want to efficiently use your time to meet an ideal partner when dating Colombian women for a relationship
At least that’s how I see it
Try to get as many numbers as possible with the least amount of time used to do so
Normally, that would mean online dating with something like Tinder
However, I don’t recommend Tinder for finding a serious girl
Out of all the women I have encountered on Tinder, very few of them were women that I liked and appeared like they could be faithful.
It’s simply very rare.
When it comes to nightlife, this is another bad option. Too many women go out at night looking for having fun in this world and not something serious
On top of that, Colombia is a special case where most women here are going out in groups and not as open to meeting someone new in the night anyway
Therefore, I don’t suggest nightlife as the best way to meet a serious woman in Colombia.
On top of that, I understand that some foreigners will use the services of a company to find a bride for them in Colombia
Though not all companies are trustworthy, there is one company in Colombia I know about that is very reputable in finding a Colombian wife
And that is Dream Connections, which I know has helped plenty of foreign men find a traditional, feminine and faithful wife in Colombia
And outside of that, how else could you find a nice Colombian woman to settle down with?
Well, there are basically 2 ways to do this in my opinion:
First, meet chicks in public places. This is your most time efficient way to do this. Go to completely normal public places likeparks, shopping malls, bookstores, universities and more.
Simply approach chicks that you like and know how to strike up a conversation with them. Just do that and lead the conversation.
Flirt a little bit when appropriate. Keep it simple and then ask for the number.
If she is not interested or low energy, simply end the conversation and move on. Do not try to pressure a woman into liking you and giving you her number. Attraction can’t be negotiated and if she is not interested, it’s as simple as that. She’s not and you should move onto the next woman so you don’t waste time.
Second, meet girls through a common connection. This could mean that you are actually taking classes at a local university here in Colombia and you meet a nice girl at a class.
On the other hand, you meet someone through friends you make here.
Keep in mind, you can meet some very nice women doing this. Some of the more faithful and honest chicks I have met have been through this option.
However, it’s not the most time efficient way to do it and the amount of numbers you can get is much lower than just approaching chicks in public places.
For myself, I met my current girlfriend in a public place by simply approaching her. And it’s worked out since.
In either case, you are going to need to have decent Spanish in my opinion.

Second: What City?
When it comes to which city you should do this in, you basically have 2 options for dating Colombian women for a relationship:
- Bogota
- Any small and non touristy city in Colombia that has a more conservative culture
That’s basically it.
Even though you can absolutely find a faithful chick in a city like Barranquilla or Medellin, I don’t see those places as the most ideal cities to find a faithful and serious chick in Colombia.
Again, it comes down to time efficiency.
Why waste time in a city like Medellin you can have a greater likelihood of quicker success somewhere else?
Especially as there are more casual women who are not as interested in something serious from my experience in Medellin
So if what you ideally want is a faithful and serious woman, pick either of the two I mentioned above.
When it comes to Bogota, most of the women here are going to have greater education and more likely to have their own job when compared to other Colombian cities.
The one downside to Bogota is that you have more “careerist” women here who place a much greater emphasis on working a job they hate over establishing a relationship and having a nice family.
Good thing is that most women here are not that extreme and simply have a job that doesn’t cause them too much stress
In which they strongly emphasize having a nice family over the work itself
So if you want a nice woman who has a job of her own but who cares more about the family than whatever job she has, then Bogota is overall a decent option in that you can find women like that here
Especially as there are more faithful chicks here than what you see in other well populated areas of the country
Then you have the smaller cities in Colombia that are not too touristy and have a more conservative culture
On one hand, you have smaller cities here that have some tourism but not too much like Pereira. However, Pereira doesn’t have the most conservative culture when it comes to casual sex and you will find a lot more unfaithful women there.
On the other hand, you have smaller cities like Popoyán
Which, in my opinion, is one of the more ideal cities to visit in Colombia for dating Colombian women for a relationship
One thing to keep in mind also is that it is easier to find a woman here who doesn’t even want a job and would rather stay at home to raise the kids
Which isn’t too uncommon in some of the smaller and non touristy cities that have a more conservative culture in Colombia
This is one of the big differences between Bogota and the small, non touristy and conservative cities like Popoyán
Therefore, you should then ask yourself – would you rather have a woman who is more likely to have a job of her own or stays at home to raise the kids?
Either one is fine but something you should ask in terms of what type of partner you want in life.
Another difference to mention is how collecting numbers is going to be different in both Bogota and a city like Popoyán.
In Bogota, the city is so big that you can collect so many numbers and nobody would notice.
In a city like Popoyán, that is not the case. After a while, you will build up a reputation if you are too aggressive and quick incollecting numbers and meeting numerous women.
So you have to be much more conservative in how many women you approach and who you approach.
By developing a reputation in a city like Popoyán for going on dates with so many women, which people are likely to notice, then that reduces your chances of finding a good woman there
Moreover, many of the nicer women are likely to avoid you and you are less likely to get any good numbers from someone who could be a nice faithful partner
So just keep that in mind when collecting numbers to go on dates in Popoyán.
Collecting numbers is still fine in a city like that as long as you are not too aggressive and don’t go on dates with too many women
And choosing the option to try and meet women through a common connection there would probably be even more ideal in a city like Popoyán
Regardless of which city you choose, you can always check out any recommended travel guide such as this one or this one to help you with your trip to Colombia
Third: When to Have Sex?
So now we have it all set up. You are in some Colombian city like Bogota or Popoyán and you are collecting numbers and going on dates.
When going on a date for something serious, I do not emphasize trying to get sex as quickly as possible like you would with girls looking for something casual.
Mainly because a girl who is an ideal person for something serious and who could be faithful is more likely to be scared away if you escalate too quickly
They tend to be a little more conservative and you have to escalate a little bit slower
Now don’t think this means that you have to wait some crazy time like 3 months or whatever to have sex with her
With one of the most conservative woman I met in my life, it still only took me 3 dates to have sex.
The longest I ever waited with a chick was 5 dates when dating Colombian women for a relationship
Though she wasn’t as conservative as the other chick, I just chose not to escalate as quickly with her
The thing is that in most cases a more conservative chick is still going to have sex with you in a reasonably quick enough time
Simply because she has sexual desire like any other human being and will act on that if you know what you are doing
Therefore, the only difference is that she won’t have sex on the first date and you will have to not be as aggressive in how quickly you escalate with her
Simple as that
Because otherwise if she doesn’t want to have sex with you in less than 5 dates, it probably means that she simply isn’tattracted to you physically
In which case, you are wasting your time with her
Now 5 dates isn’t an exact number you have to follow for yourself personally. It’s just the rule I set for myself. No sex in 5 dates or less means we don’t continue seeing each other.
Because almost all chicks, including the serous ones, will have sex in that time if she is attracted to you
And the only time where this is not the case is if the chick is very religious and is actually repressing her sexual desire because of religion
Now I get some of you may think that is common in Colombia because it is a country with a large Catholic population
However, it isn’t that common
As explained in another article I wrote, there are plenty of Catholic women here who go to church every Sunday after cheating on their husbands the other 6 days of the week
And other Catholic chicks who are very casual and easy to have sex with
Being Catholic very rarely stops her from acting out on her desire to have sex with you if she is attracted to you
As said, it sometimes happens where you meet the chick who is so religious that she is a virgin and will not have sex untilmarriage
However, that is very rare in my experience in Colombia. It happens sometimes so it should be mentioned but don’t worry about it in most cases
Fourth: The Ideal Date
So having said all that above, don’t aim for trying to have sex on the first date but don’t tolerate waiting anything longer than 5 dates at most.
Therefore, what should you do on the first date when you are dating Colombian women for a relationship?
Well remember how in my other article about finding a girl for casual sex in Colombia means that you shouldn’t travel to go see her?
And how the date should always be close to you for better logistics?
Forget that completely when dating Colombian women for a relationship
Since you are not trying to escalate so quickly to have sex on the first date because you want something serious, there is no need to worry about her showing up close to where you live
You absolutely could set up the date to have her show up to where you are
Might be better if there are nice places to visit near you
However, don’t set it as a hard rule. If you do, you will be missing out on the occasional chick here and there who you would have loved to met but in which she didn’t want to be the one to travel this time
However, if she does travel to see you, I would offer to pay her taxi in this case.
While paying for her taxis is more optional in cases where you just want casual sex
In this case, I don’t mind as much in doing so and am less selective in which chicks I will spend the 3 to 6 dollars on to covertheir taxi charge if they travel to see me
Mostly because these are girls that I tend to like more on a personal level if I am dating them for something serious
Next, the location of your date is going to be similar – park, bar or café.
However, I usually prefer bar or café. I don’t mind spending an extra dollar on a cup of coffee for a chick when I am looking for something serious
And bars and cafes tend to be nicer places for simply talking and getting to know each other than a park anyway
One thing to mention here is to not take her to a restaurant when dating Colombian women for a relationship
I understand some of you guys will think this is something to do
Above all, it’s not a terrible thing and everything can work out alright if you do take her to a restaurant
However, I don’t do this for serious or casual chicks for a few reasons
First, it’s more expensive. I don’t like spending too much money on someone I don’t know too well and may not have any long term interest with. It doesn’t make sense to spend too much money if you are not seeing her for a long time.
Therefore, if she wants to eat a nice restaurant, she has to earn it by being someone I suspect will likely be the person I enter into a relationship with.
That means that she is overall a much more enjoyable woman to be with when compared to other women I have met during the same time and that I enjoy my time with her more than anyone else.
Second, not taking her to a restaurant on the first date is a good way to eliminate the gold diggers. Chicks who just want to use you as a free meal usually do not wait until the second date for you to spend more serious money on her.
As a result, the longer she has to wait for that, the less likely she as a gold digger would stick around with you.
Third, sometimes I like to do something fun and exciting on the first date when it’s with a chick I like personally and whowants something serious. If I just had a nice meal, I sometimes prefer to lie down and rest rather than do something exciting.
Having said all that, time to move on.
Before showing up to the date, make sure to dress decently since Colombian women appreciate a man who knows how to take care of himself (all women do)
That means dressing up in a decent shirt such as this one or having some nice shoes such as these with a good watch to fit your appearance
All of which will make you look better and have more success dating Colombian women
So you have the date with her starting at a park, bar or café
Once you have gotten to know her a bit at one of these places, ask yourself if you like her personally
In addition, if you could see yourself going on a second date with her and maybe get serious with her someday
If so, I usually would then take her on doing something more exciting on the same first date if everything is going well onthe first date by that point
For example, we will leave the park, bar or café and go do something else that date
Could be go to a museum or whatever else that changes the date up and makes it more fun
Throughout this entire date, you will also want to escalate with her a little bit. Just don’t emphasize the sex part of it. Justbasic touching and kissing and leave it at that.
You will want to do that in order to build up the chemistry between you two but not to get sex as quickly as possible
Additionally, it was also mentioned in another article how you should set up each date with a chick to be 3 hours if you are looking for casual sex
In the case where you are looking for something serious, do not try and set up each date to be 3 hours where you have subsequent dates lined up after each other on the same day
Main reason being is that approach works well for looking for casual sex since you can find out if you are having sex or not well enough within a 3 hour time frame
However, since casual sex isn’t the goal here, it isn’t necessary to line up dates after each other and each being 3 hours
Second, the date itself is more likely to be more than 3 hours of your time if you are looking for something serious. After all,you might be traveling within a city to see her. Also, if you try making the date more exciting and going somewhere, you are probably going to be spending more than 3 hours.
Basically don’t try lining up multiple dates after each other in this case and don’t overly emphasize not going past 3 hours in these dates like you would if it was for casual sex.
Fifth: Evaluation
Finally, this is the part where you evaluate after the date if the chick you met seemed like she could be faithful, if you twoliked each other personally and if you two are possibly compatible.
Importantly, keep in mind that determining all of this is going to take a lot more time than just 1 date.

And determining all of this is such a big topic that there is no way I can cover it all in this article since it is already past3,000 words.

Overall, I have noticed that it usually takes me around 3 months at most to have an idea if the chick could be faithful, if welike each other personally and if we are compatible.
Above all, you will find out much sooner if one of those 3 factors isn’t the case
Possibly in the first date itself
In other words, the main advice I can give here is to cut her out right away if you conclude that she doesn’t fit all 3 of these factors
Therefore, do not be afraid to ever cut it off with a woman and move on.
Moreover, your time, as emphasized before, is extremely valuable and you don’t want to waste it — especially when it comes to dating Colombian women for a relationship
