It’s at your discretion to add what information you feel comfortable adding
The information that you can fill in breaks down into the following:

As implied in the last point, there are some bad women on this website
Mostly those who are trying to get money from you
However, in my experience, they are by far not the majority of women on this website

Nothing wrong with Tinder though, just that Colombian Cupid has always been safer in my experience with less scammers

Positive 7: Language Help
If your Spanish is a bit rusty, that is no problem
As there are some women on Colombian Cupid who do speak a decent amount of English
In my experience, the women that are more likely to speak English usually are from the bigger and more popular cities
Most notably Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena
Though most from those cities won’t speak English well enough, you just happen to have enough that do
Meaning it’s not too hard to find a nice Colombian woman from those places that does
Outside of those cities, the women are much less likely to speak English well enough for a conversation
However, don’t worry!
As said, the Platinum option provides language translation, which will help you greatly in speaking with them

After all, your success when actually in Colombia will be higher if you speak Spanish to at least a conversational level

Positive 8: Plenty of Traditional Women
The women on this website tend to be a bit more traditional in that they are very feminine
And that they are looking for a masculine man to enjoy life with
Plenty of attractive women who dress well, love to cook and who wish to settle down with a man to have a happy life with
Positive 9: Eager to Respond to You
In my experience, Colombian women always respond well on this website to men that message them
While it might be more difficult to get women to respond to you on other dating platforms, this is not an issue you will have here
Of all the women I ever messaged on here, well over the majority of them responded to me positively

Positive 10: Great Value for Money Compared to Tinder
With everything I have mentioned so far, this website has great value for your money.
Especially when you compare Colombian Cupid to the other main online dating option in Colombia – Tinder
In my experience, Tinder can be a decent tool for online dating in Colombia but it has drawbacks
First, the response rate is usually a little bit lower on Tinder than in Colombian Cupid from my experience
Second, it’s easier to meet more serious women on Colombian Cupid who want a serious relationship and have someone to love
On Tinder, most of the women I met were simply looking for hookups
Which that is also possible to find on Colombian Cupid if that is what you are looking for
Main difference though being that most women I met on Colombian Cupid were far more serious and interested in having a loving life with a nice man than on Tinder
And with that – more traditional and interested in being loyal and loving to a man that they can have a life with
Third, there have been less scams on Colombian Cupid than on Tinder in my experience
Fourth, Colombian Cupid provides language translation services that are much better than Google translate or any free service in my experience
While on Tinder, that does not exist
Fifth, Colombian Cupid doesn’t discriminate against your age
It was reported in the news that Tinder charges its users more money if they are over 30 years old
Thankfully, Colombian Cupid doesn’t do that
Sixth, it is easier to get a girl’s attention on Colombian Cupid than on Tinder
On Tinder, there is such a thing called “super like” where you can notify a girl that you like her profile and see if she responds
But you have to pay money to use that option
On Colombian Cupid, that is free because you can send “interest” to any girl
Seventh, Colombian Cupid respects your privacy more than Tinder
As reported in the media, Tinder has kept a lot of information on its users and it has been possible for users to request that information
Where this one person reported in The Guardian that Tinder had over 800 pages on them
Wouldn’t it be nicer to use a dating service that doesn’t keep that much information on you and have your privacy respected?
Eighth, you don’t have women telling you to go “follow their instragram” or “check out their premium snapchat” on Colombian Cupid
On Tinder, I have encountered both cases plenty of times
While these women are not necessarily scammers, they are just trying to get money or attention from you
Both of which doesn’t benefit you and fortunately is never an issue on Colombian Cupid
Ninth, Colombian Cupid has a more advanced search system to help you find the Colombian woman that you want
In which you can filter out women that you are not interested in more easily and focus on the ones that have what you are looking for
Tenth, Colombian Cupid is cheaper with more resources to use than Tinder for men over 30
If you want to meet Colombian women before you show up to Colombia, you are going to need a service that can allow you to match with women before you even show up here
And with that, let’s compare the prices
If you use Tinder Plus, it’s going to be $9.99 a month if you are under 30 or $19.99 a month if you are over 30 years old
And keep in mind, Colombian Cupid doesn’t discriminate against you for your age with their pricing options – just keep that in mind
Additionally, Tinder only has payment options for 1, 6 or 12 months.
So if you happen to be under 30, Tinder is going to be a little bit cheaper but keep in mind that it doesn’t include many of the benefits mentioned above
If you are over 30, the numbers that I have seen online indicate that Tinder Plus will cost $19.99 USD a month or $119.94 USD for 6 months of membership
The option from Colombian Cupid that is most similar to Tinder Plus would be the Platinum Plan
On the Platinum Plan from Colombian Cupid, you would have to purchase the 3 month plan twice in which you would be billed $45.99 USD twice for a total of $91.98 USD
That is a difference of $27.96 USD that you save for using Colombian Cupid
So as I have said, Tinder really is the main other option that I have seen foreigners use to meet Colombian women
And when comparing Tinder Plus with Colombian Cupid, you simply pay less and get more when you use the Platinum Plan of Colombian Cupid
All around a much better deal for you
The Negatives of Colombian Cupid
Now to be fair, Colombian Cupid isn’t perfect
So there are some negatives that need to be explained so you can get a more nuanced picture of what Colombian Cupid has to offer
Negative 1: Flakes
In Colombia, as I have written about in another article, the women are notorious for flaking on dates
In which they don’t even show up to the date
Now the same applies to the Colombian women on Colombian Cupid
When setting up dates, you are still going to face this issue
While most Colombian women do not flake in my experience, there are plenty that do so this needs to be said
Negative 2: There are some scammers
As said before, Colombian Cupid is mostly safe in that most women on there are honest and legit
And when compared to other online dating tools, it’s better in my opinion
However, there are still some scammers on this website looking for your money, so this needs to be mentioned again so you remember to stay safe

As explained in another article, I once used Colombian Cupid to set up a date with a Colombian woman before I even arrived to the Colombian City of Cali
If you want to maximize your success down here, make sure you are talking with Colombian women before you show up

From that list, plan dates accordingly before you even step foot in Colombia

No excuses

It is now time to break down finally how to go through 10 important steps of having success with Colombian women on dates from Colombian Cupid
Step 1: Getting Her Number
So let’s say you met a Colombian woman on Colombian Cupid called Dahiana

Keep it basic.
What I say to Colombian women on Colombian Cupid is the same as what I will tell them on any online dating website
It basically boils down to introducing yourself, complementing her, mentioning something about her profile, saying you don’t spend too much time on Colombian Cupid because you are busy with work but you would like to get to know her more.
In Spanish, it would look like this:
“Hola, me llamo Seth. Soy de EUA pero voy a pasar tiempo en Colombia. Vi tu perfil y te ves linda. Es muy chévere que te gusta el Junior de Barranquilla.También me interesa el fútbol. Quizás podamos ver un juego de fútbol cuando estoy en Colombia. Me interesa conocerte más pero no paso mucho tiempo en Colombian Cupid porque estoy ocupado. Tienes Whatsapp?”
In English, this says: “Hi, my name is Seth. I am from the US but I am going to spend time in Colombia. I saw your profile and you are pretty. It’s very cool that you like the sports team of Barranquilla (Junior de Barranquilla).I also like soccer. Perhaps we can watch a soccer game together when I am in Colombia. I would like to know you more but I don’t spend too much time in Colombian Cupid because I am busy. Do you have Whatsapp?”
This type of message is “short and sweet” as I said before. Be a man and announce your interest to her. Don’t beat around the bush or anything else. If you like her, just say it.
A woman always appreciates a man who is confident in himself to say what he wants over beating around the bush and not getting to the point because he’s nervous.
A Few Other Things
First, this message clearly shows that you might have some interest in her profile. Even though you are going to be sending this same message to most women with online dating, you want to make sure your message does not seem like it is copy and paste
So it’s important to have something unique to her profile on there – as shown in the red sentence in that paragraph.
Second, it would be ideal if you can easily transition the sentence that mentions something about her profile into an invitation for a date. As you see in the blue line and how it also talks about soccer.
Overall, it makes the paragraph flow better.
Finally, the paragraph mentions the word “chévere” and the soccer team of Barranquilla. By throwing out a Spanish slang term that Colombians use like chévere, she will be impressed you learned that word.
She might even find it funny that a foreigner like yourself knows it
Just make sure you are using the word correctly.
Next, mentioning something like the Barranquilla soccer team does show some interest in her country, which is also impressive. This part of the paragraph is not necessary but it’s a final cherry on top.
In the end, send a variation of this message to the women you match online, get the numbers and go from there.
Step 2: Adding Her Number
In this bit, you want to add their numbers correctly into your phone – especially if you are dealing with a lot of women.
First, use your prepaid burner phone if you have one. If you don’t have one, no big deal. But ideally you have one that can also handle having Whatsapp.
Second, add the area code of her city into the number she gives you if she didn’t add it herself.
If you don’t know the area code, ask her for it
Second, you will have the option to add her name along with the phone number into your phone
If you are dealing with a lot of women, add their phone numbers in this manner:
“Name, Age, City – Where you met her.”
The last bit about “where you met her” is not necessary if you are only meeting women on Colombian Cupid
If you are using other resources like Tinder at the same time or meeting women in public, then add that part to it
So an example would be like this:
“Dahiana, 24, Cali, — CC”
This makes it easier to organize the women properly so you don’t get confused. When you open up a chat with one of them on Whatsapp, you have the basic info about them on the very top of your phone screen

Trust me, if you are dealing with a lot of women at once, you need this
Eventually you will forget little details about them like this if you are dealing with a lot so it’s necessary

So you have these women in your phone and you need to decide who is best
This is where you need to know what you are looking for in a woman and if you feel that she is attracted to you

First, set up the date near where you live if you don’t have much experience in the city you are in. Only when you feel more comfortable with your surroundings, your Spanish or the city itself should you plan dates not as close to your hotel or apartment.
Because it is quite likely you will get lost
So just make sure you adjust yourself well…
Before running around the city on dates
And when you do go on dates with girls not as close to your place, make sure they are in well lit and safe areas that you have already gone to and know personally
Second, it is most likely that you will start your dates at a mall. In my experience, most Colombian women are most comfortable first meeting at a mall in their area and then going from there
You don’t have to start at a mall though – a café, park or bar is fine. It’s just more likely in my experience
Third, no restaurants. Don’t buy her nice meals or nice things until she has proven herself to you. Some women do take advantage of men and it’s not necessary to spend lots of money
Especially as I’ve had plenty of success dating women without ever spending a single dollar on them
So when planning a date, remember to be the man and lead as I said before
You plan the date and decide where you two will meet each other and take things from there
Now where should you take these women specifically?
Not just a park, bar, café or shopping mall – but what specific place should you meet them at?
Well, this is a difficult question because I don’t know what city you are going to!
