15 Factors Comparing Colombian to Dominican Women

Interested in traveling to Colombia or the Dominican Republic to enjoy dating the women in either country? 

With some of the more important differences laid out between women of both countries, you will ideally have a better idea at which country offers better women for your personal tastes. 😉

Factor 1: Demographics

As said in the other related articles like this one, demographics in Colombia broadly speaking work like this. Along the Pacific and Caribbean Coasts, you got a heavier black population with some brown Latinas and a few white ones that are mostly upper class. Then you have more indigenous Colombians in Guajira and the Amazonian region. In Bogota, you have a whiter population overall with some brown Colombians. Then you have an overall mix of plenty of white with some brown Colombians in areas like Medellin, Pereira, Manizales, Pasto, etc.

Now you have the Dominican Republic. I have spent a decent amount of time in this country but not as much as in places like Mexico or Peru for example.

In the DR, I generally have noticed a general stronger black population throughout the country. I never saw a white Dominican woman too often relative to Colombia but they do exist. From my experience, it appeared that the DR has mostly black and white women.

So in this case I prefer Colombia due to the greater range of options when it comes to the type of woman you can meet or sleep with.

Winner: Colombia

Factor 2: Sexiness

Between the two countries, I prefer Colombian women.

While there are plenty of sexy women in both countries, there are some distinct differences between the two.

First, Colombia simply has more diversity as mentioned in the last category. This is one factor to consider for me.

Second, you have plenty of curvy and beautiful Latinas in both countries. Latinas with great bodies all around. So you can’t go wrong in either country for that.

Third, Dominican women have uglier faces than Colombian women overall. That’s not to say that they face ugly faces in the DR but that they are less attractive then the faces in Colombia.

So in short, it is a tough comparison on this category. Both countries have incredibly sexy women but I prefer Colombia with this one.

Factor 3: Easiness

By far the Dominican Republic in my experience.

In Santo Domingo, I’ve had a few months where I was able to actually get 10 or more attractive woman to hookup within a single month.

At one point, I even hooked up 16 women way back before I settled down with a Colombian girlfriend over here in Bogota now.

For me, that’s a lot of women and is not normal in anyway.

That’s insane.

There are few places in the world where women are that easy in my experience.

Now you can find plenty of women to hookup with in Colombia – plenty of women down for that in Colombia also.

But I’ve never hooked up with 16 women in Colombia in a single month. Not even close.

Maybe if I stopped working for an entire month and dedicated my free time to it, then sure…

But even then I’m doubtful I’d get up to 16 in Colombia. I’d have to go to Cali or Pereira maybe where women are even easier.

And also you have plenty of areas in Colombia where hookup culture is much less stronger like in Pasto, Popayán, etc.

While the DR is overall a smaller country and has less areas like that.

So by far the DR, in my personal experience, is a much easier place to hookup in than Colombia.

Factor 4: Fidelity

As there is plenty of hooking up and cheating in both countries, this might be in a way hard to choose in terms of which country has more faithful women.

But I’d go with Colombia overall without too much concern here.

In Colombia, it is true that plenty of cheating and hooking up happens also in places like Cali for example.

However, Colombia, as said in the last category, is a bigger country then the DR. You have more variety in terms of where you are.

Not to say all the DR is the same but there is less variety by area from what I have personally experience when compared to Colombia.

So in places like Pasto, Popayán, Valledupar, etc., you can much more easily find a faithful woman to settle down with.

Having said that, if I had to choose which country to find a faithful woman in, I’d much rather choose Colombia.

Not to say you can’t find a faithful woman in the DR, I’d just consider it to be a bit more difficult than finding one in Colombia.

Factor 5: Personality

Between the two, I like Colombian women a lot more than Dominican women when it comes to personality.

The thing with Dominican women is that a lot of them really are out there for the gold from my experience – using men financially.

Now not all Dominican women are like that and it is possible to find a chick without that mindset…

However, in my experience, there were way more women in the DR with that mindset than what I have seen in Colombia.

In short, I just haven’t come across that type of woman anywhere near as much in Colombia than in the DR.

Now in my experience, if you want to find a woman in the DR that isn’t like that, your best bet is to go for a woman that is better educated, has her own job and is upper middle class without being too materialistic.

In short, Colombia has overall more educated women, don’t often see men as walking ATMs and are not as materialistic as women from the DR.

Of course, you got more materialism in places like Cartagena or Medellin

But since Colombia is a much bigger country than the DR, you have a lot more places to find a woman that won’t try to use you

And also, I just overall tend to flow better with Colombian women than Dominican. For whatever reason, I find their personalities to be overall better.

So…

Winner: Colombia

Factor 6: Traditional Femininity

By far, Colombian women are more traditionally feminine than Dominican women.

In my experience, Dominican women don’t necessarily mind cooking for their men but they don’t usually seem as mindful of doing so as Colombian women.

With Dominican women, I noticed that money was a lot more important and a lot of them (though not all) didn’t care much about else when it comes to men.

Not necessarily pleasing them or anything – just trying to get money from them.

That was my experience and also the experience of other guys I know who spent a lot of time in the DR.

Also, American culture seemed to be a little bit stronger in the DR than in Colombia from what I noticed over my time there in cities like Santo Domingo.

Not as strong as say how it is in Mexico but still.

Of course, you can get a traditionally feminine woman in the DR but they seem less common than in Colombia.

Winner: Colombia

Factor 7: Cooking

Between the two countries, I think this issue goes better to the DR than in Colombia.

In both countries, you can find women who are willing to cook for you. However, it seemed like Colombian women enjoyed it more in my experience.

Also, I enjoy Colombian food a little bit more than Dominican food. However, the food in either country isn’t the best when compared to places like Mexico, Peru, Argentina, etc.

But because I liked Colombian food a little bit more also, I’ll give it to Colombia on this issue.

Winner: Colombia

Factor 8: Stay at Home Vs Work

In general, I found it more common to find women in the DR that want to stay at home than wanting to work.

In Colombia, you can find either easy enough but it seems like it’s just a little more common to find a woman that wants to work there and contribute financially to the household than in the DR.

Just keep in mind that to satisfy a stay at home wife in the DR, her expectations for the money will probably be higher than what a Colombian woman would expect out of a foreigner.

Because of the issue mentioned before with how there are more Dominican women that only are out there dating for the money than Colombian women.

But because what you might prefer – a stay at home wife or a working wife – will vary by the guy, I won’t say which country is better in this category.

Since it all depends on you here.

Factor 9: Foreign Value

In short, I find that foreign men have a lot more foreign value in the DR than in Colombia.

Which might help serve as one of the explanations for why casual sex was so much easier to have in this country than in Colombia.

However, as a side note, one of the other reasons for why this is the case also is because the culture in the DR is much more sexually open and aggressive than in Colombia.

On top of that, because Dominican women place a bigger emphasis on the money in dating, they are more open to messing around if there’s a chance they can get something out of the guy later (or before also) sex happens.

And when it comes to foreign value in Colombia, foreign men do have plenty of foreign value in most of Colombia.

But in a place like Bogota, it’s notably less.

And in a place like Medellin or even Cartagena to a degree, it can work against foreigners because of the “sex tourist stereotype.”

And when looking at some of the bigger cities in the DR like Santo Domingo or Santiago, it never felt like the foreign exotic value of guys was less because of the fact those are bigger cities.

So in short….

Winner: The Dominican Republic

Factor 10: Arrogance

In the DR, I often found guys to be more receptive to criticism of their country as long as it was fair and not too excessive obviously.

In general, people in the DR are all around a bit more chill on this subject and are more willing to keep an open mind on it.

While Colombians are all around much more combative to any criticism of their country and are more likely to think their country is top notch.

Especially Colombians from Medellin who can be quite arrogant compared to the rest of the country.

Winner: The Dominican Republic

Factor 11: Quality of Sex

No contest.

The Dominican Republic has all around been a much better place for me sexually than Colombia.

Now keep in mind that Colombia is a great country also for sex as the women here are very beautiful and even sexier than Dominican women.

But Dominican women are much more open to casual sex and it was much easier to hookup way more often in this country as mentioned before.

Because of that, anytime I ever visited the DR, it felt like an orgy paradise. Just non-stop sex.

And so because of how more frequent sex was, it was faster to find Dominican chicas that were more enjoyable in the bedroom than other women out there.

On top of that, countries that have a more open attitude to casual hookups tend to have more skilled women in the bedroom

Which means more fun all around sexually.

So while both countries are great for hookups with beautiful women, I’d have to give it to the DR here

Winner: The Dominican Republic

Factor 12: Family Values

In both countries, you have plenty of hooking up and casual sex in general. I wouldn’t consider either country to be the most ideal Latin American country to find a faithful wife.

However, I absolutely would never try to find a faithful wife that hasn’t been with too many men in her past. Just not worth even trying to find in that country even though it probably is possible somewhere over there.

But because of my experience in the DR, I just feel it wouldn’t be worth the effort.

While in Colombia, it is overall a much bigger country then the DR. Keep in mind that the DR is a country that occupies over half of a small island while Colombia is a much bigger country.

Because of that, you have more diversity in regions in Colombia than in the DR.

So overall, it’s much easier to find a faithful wife in Colombia as I have also met plenty of Colombian women, including my current girlfriend, who would make good wives someday.

Factor 13: English Levels

English levels in either country are not ideal but not terrible.

In the DR, you have more American influence in some ways and so there are some people here and there (especially in Santo Domingo or Santiago) that speak English well enough.

In Colombia, you also have plenty of cities where there’s plenty of people that speak English.

Also, in Colombia, there has been a lot more investment recently to improve English levels down here among the population.

And in my personal experience, I found Colombians to be better at English than Dominicans overall.

So…

Winner: Colombia

Factor 14: Enjoyableness

In short, I find Colombian women to be much more enjoyable than Dominican women.

Let’s break it down based on everything said so far….

On one hand, Dominican women are much easier than Colombian women and a bit better in bed overall.

On the other hand, Colombian women are also not difficult to have sex with and are also quite enjoyable in bed also.

Additionally, Colombian women are more beautiful and sexier than Dominican women.

Also, there’s more Colombian women that you can find who would be faithful in a marriage than Dominican women.

I also rarely have ever been pressured by any Colombian woman to give money while it is much more common with Dominican women.

On top of that, English levels are better with Colombian women and they cook better food while feeling more willing to cook for a man they like.

So in short, Colombian women are all around more enjoyable.

Factor 15: Desire to Please

With Dominican women, it always felt more like an “I’ll please you as long as I believe I can somehow get money out of you at a later point a few days after sex.”

With Colombian women, it almost never feels that way.

The desire among Colombian women to please the men they are with always feels much more genuine and real.

So by far the winner here is obvious for me…

Winner: Colombia

Final Thoughts

In this list, Colombia won on 10 of the factors while the Dominican Republic won on just 4 of them.

And most of the ones that the DR turned out to be better had to do with easiness in bed or quality of sex basically.

So as said before, in my personal experience, the DR is really ideal if you are looking for some sex crazy adventure where you have a lot of sex quickly in a certain amount of time.

But while you can have plenty of sexual fun in Colombia, the women here seem a bit better suited for other things as well when compared to women in the DR

Things like settling down, cooking, raising a family, etc.

So in short, I strongly prefer Colombian women over Dominican women.

If I was a single dude again looking to have lots of crazy fun in a short time period, I’d definitely take the occasional visit to the DR again every once in a while

But since I’m not single anymore, I don’t really feel the need to since I also never really liked the culture, the history or anything else about that place either

It was always, in my experience, a place better suited for finding such a high quantity of extremely easy and attractive women in a short time period

And nothing else at least according to my tastes

While in comparison to Colombia, I actually do really love the history and the culture of this country down here

I wouldn’t be able to stand living down here if I didn’t

So all around, Colombia and its women are much better than the DR and its women on most issues by my personal experience and tastes
