- 15 Factors Comparing Colombian to Mexican Women
Interested in traveling to Colombia or Mexico to enjoy dating the women in either country?
With some of the more important differences laid out between women of both countries, you will ideally have a better idea at which country offers better women for your personal tastes. š
Factor 1: Demographics
Colombia generally has more diversity in my experience than what you will see in Mexico.
In Colombia, you have a stronger black population with brown Colombians as well along the Pacific and Caribbean Coasts. In both areas, you can find some white Latinas but they are mostly the upper class chicks that study at private universities from what I have seen.
Then you have more people of indigenous background in the Guajira Peninsula or the Amazonian region. In Bogota, you have a much stronger white population with some brown Colombians. Then in places like Medellin, Pereira, Manizales, Pasto, etc., you have an average mix of both white and brown Colombians overall with more representation towards people of European background.

Now Mexico has its own demographics. In the northern part of the country near the border, you will notice a whiter population relative to the rest of the country with plenty of brown Mexicans also. In the central part of Mexico, thereās a smaller white population and more light brown skinned Latinas.
Once you go to places like Chiapas or Oaxaca, you will notice a heavier indigenous population. From what I saw, there also appears to be more black Mexicans in Veracruz but I have seen very few black Mexicans in the country overall.
Then you have Mexico City. I have spent plenty of time in this city over the years. If I wasnāt living in Colombia, this would be one place I would consider settling down in. In Mexico City, you have a strong mix of both white and brown Mexicans mostly with a heavier representation towards brown Mexicans. However, you do have a certain amount of Asian women that I have seen mostly near the general area close to the Angel of Independence. However, I rarely have ever seen an Asian use online dating in Mexico and have not come across a lot of black women in Mexico City either.
Between the two, I prefer Colombia. Overall, I have seen more diversity and options of women in this country than in Mexico.
Winner: Colombia
Factor 2: Sexiness
Between two nationalities, Colombian women are overall much sexier than Mexican women.
In Mexico, you will notice that the women are generally less attractive in the southern part of the country. Between the Central and Northern part of Mexico, I prefer the women in the Central part overall. They fit more to my tastes in general.
And in short, I think Mexico City has some of the sexiest women you will find here based on my own personal tastes. Other cities I recommend are a little bit more north like Guadalajara or Monterrey. You will find some of the better women in those cities.
Another area you should try out that also has some of the sexiest Mexican women is Sinaloa. That area of Mexico has more violence but the women there do not disappoint. Check out CuliacƔn specifically if your desire for sexy Mexican women is stronger than your fear of the violence there.
Which, for a lot of single traveling men, often is. Funny how that works.
Now with Colombia, some of the sexiest women will be in places like Medellin, Pereira, Manizales, Cali or Barranquilla for example. But there are sexy women all over this country.
Now while Mexico does have plenty of sexy women, they simply donāt compare in terms of beauty to Colombian women. Colombian women are better for the following reasons:
- Better curves and better natural bodies
- Much nicer asses
- Better faces
- Dress more sexually in public
- More diversity in skin color and more options
- More plastic surgery in my experience in some areas (if you like that)
So the winner here is clear in this categoryā¦
Winner: Colombia
Factor 3: Easiness
One of the easier places I have been to when it comes to casual sex has been Mexico City.
Plenty of easy women in that city
And also women from other nearby parts of Mexico that are sometimes willing to travel to see you for a hookup while telling their boyfriend that they are visiting an aunt
Which has happened when I was living in Mexico City as occasionally women would come over from the State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Puebla, etc.
However, women in the rest of Mexico tend to be overall much more conservative than Mexico City. Mexico City really isnāt a good representation of what you will find in Mexico overall.
While women in the large cities of the northern part of the country can be a little bit easier in my experience than the rest of the countryā¦.
It pales in comparison to Colombian women.
Colombian women really are overall much easier than Mexican women. Thereās not much of a contest here.
So donāt take Mexico City and use it to understand the country as a whole. Understand that hooking up is quite easy in that one city but you will find that Colombia is overall a better option as a whole for hooking up.
In general, Mexican women overall tend to be a bit more conservative. Where hooking up on the first date can be a bit more difficult outside of Mexico City, which means you will probably have sex more likely between the 2nd to 4th date instead.
While in Colombia, getting a hookup on the first date is generally a bit easier across the various parts of the country that you are more likely to visit.

Factor 4: Fidelity
It sure seems like Colombia is overall a better option right?
Better demographics, sexier and easier womenā¦.
Well, this is where it gets tricky when deciding between the two.
Overall, Colombian women are a bit less unfaithful than Mexican women.
Mexican women are a bit more trust worthy overall when it comes to relationships.
Now in Mexico City, you can find a good woman to settle down with but it will be harder than other parts of the country.
And the northern border of the country is not as ideal either.
But if you go to some of the cities close to Mexico City like Puebla or Pachuca de Soto, you will much more easily find a faithful woman to settle down with.
In Colombia, there are places where you can find a faithful woman to settle down without no doubt ā as I have written about here.
In places like PopayĆ”n, Pasto, Bucaramanga, Valledupar, etcā¦
However, in many of the more touristy cities that you are likely to visit such as Medellin, Cali, Pereira, etc., it is going to be a bit more difficult.
Not impossible but more difficult than your experience trying to find a faithful wife in most of the cities in Mexico.
So finally Mexico wins one of these categoriesā¦

Factor 5: Personality
In short, this is a tougher comparison because there are plenty of nice women in both countries that are sweet and not too materialistic.
However, overall, I like Mexican women a little bit more when it comes to personalities.
They tend to be sweeter all around and a little bit more innocent. They also seem to be conservative and traditional in many ways, which is something I like overall.
However, there are plenty of sweet Colombian women also ā including the one I am dating now.
So itās a tough call to say the least ā but Iād give it to Mexican women on this one based on my experiences overall.
Winner: Mexico
Factor 6: Traditional Femininity
This is another factor that is tough to compare overall.
In Mexico, you will find a lot less traditional women in places like Mexico City or even some of the larger cities near the northern border that have more American influence.
However, if you go to Chiapas or Oaxaca, traditional femininity is much stronger.
In most of Mexico, women tend to be overall a bit more traditionally feminine overall.
However, one thing to remember is that Mexico is one of the most āAmericanizedā countries I have been to in Latin America.
In large part because it is more developed and also is right next to the US where American culture is much stronger there overall.
While traditional femininity is not as strong in places like Bogota or even Medellin in Colombia.
But in the rest of Colombia, it is much stronger and especially so in places like Pasto or PopayƔn where western influence is really not notable whatsoever.
So in comparison, Iād say Colombia wins here but honestly you can easily find a more traditionally feminine woman in Mexico anyway. Tough to compare the two here but Iād give it to Colombia.

Factor 7: Cooking
In both Mexico and Colombia, itās easy to find a woman that is willing and even happy to cook for you.
As written about in this article here, itās often a great way to start a date with a Colombian woman and the same can be said about Mexican women.
But this is by far one of the easiest factors to consider for one good reasonā¦.
Mexican women cook so much better because Mexican food is so much tastier than Colombian food.
Sin duda.
This is so obvious that it doesnāt even require more explanation.
And if you are American, you probably already know this is true because of all the tasty Mexican food that has made its way into the US.
Winner: Mexico
Factor 8: Stay at Home Vs Work
In my experience, itās overall a little bit easier to find a woman in Colombia that is interested to stay at home than in Mexico.
However, you can easily find one in basically either country.
It also depends on where you are going to be. In Mexico City or in the large cities near the border, itās a bit less common. Especially in Mexico City.
While itās overall less common in places like Medellin, Cartagena or Medellin. However, in the rest of Mexico or Colombia, itās overall not very difficult to find a woman that wants to stay home to take care of the kids.
But given the greater American influence in Mexico, Iād give this factor to Colombia when it comes to finding a traditional woman to stay at home.
Though if you want a woman that works and contributes financially, than Mexico would be a little bit better for you in my opinion.
However, as stated, you can easily enough find one or the other in either country.
And because I donāt know what you prefer ā a stay at home wife or a working woman ā Iāll leave this issue as undecided.
Winner: Neutral
Factor 9: Foreign Value
Similar to the cooking factor, this one is quite easy also.
In short, you have more foreign value in Colombia than you do in Mexico by far for various reasons.
First, American cultural influence is much stronger in Mexico than in Colombia.
Second, a lot more Mexicans have family in the US or have visited the US than Colombians. For that reason, visiting the US simply isnāt as āspecialā for Mexicans than it is for Colombians who donāt share a border with the US.
In general, a trip to the US sounds more unique to the average Colombian than the average Mexican.
Third, both Mexico and the US have a much tighter shared history together that has resulted in a lot more cultural sharing between the two countries.
Fourth, you have more Americans living in Mexico with the number of expats being over a million.
Therefore, your foreign exotic value as an American is not as strong in Mexico as it is in Colombia.
That isnāt to say that being an American or a foreigner in general doesnāt have a slight ācoolā factor for being different in Mexico as it does.
Just that itās not as strong as you will get in Colombia from my personal experience.
Winner: Colombia
Factor 10: Arrogance
This is another tough issue to compare because there is plenty of arrogance in the people in both countries.
In my experience, it isnāt too uncommon to find a Mexican that thinks Mexico is so much better than the rest of Latin America.
There are Mexicans that look down on the rest of Latin America as basically a dump.
While Colombians generally donāt have that attitude from what I have seen.
On the other hand, Colombians are usually a bit more anal about any criticism of their country than Mexicans.
In my experience, Mexicans are much more chill about taking a criticism of their country.
While you tell a Colombian that you are not a fan of the arepas or salchipapa in their country and it would not surprise me if the Colombian just shoots you in the face.
Not literally of course ā I think anywayā¦..
But Colombians are more likely the type than Mexicans to go through the internet trying to see what people say about their country
And when they find something even slightly negative, they are more likely to just outright type in full caps in a paragraph that has barely understandable English and ends in a āhijo de puta!!!!ā
So between the two, Mexicans seem much more chill and likeable on this issue.
Winner: Mexico
Factor 11: Quality of Sex
Colombian women are all around more enjoyable in the bedroom.
While both Mexican and Colombian women make an effort to please you sexually, Colombian women are better.
They are better looking all around and generally come across like they have more experience in the bedroom.
While it is more common to find a Mexican woman that seems sweet but a little bit more inexperienced sexually.
So for me, there isnāt much of a contest here based on my experience.
Winner: Colombia
Factor 12: Family Values
While it could be argued that Colombian women are a little more traditionally feminine than Mexican women, it isnāt by that much as I said before.
On top of that, Colombian women all around in general are a bit more sexually adventurous and more unfaithful as said before.
So when factoring in all of that, Iād say Mexican women are a bit better when it comes to family values.
Though you can easy enough find a woman in either country that has good family valuesā¦
As I have currently with my Colombian girlfriend that I enjoy being with right now
Iād overall trust the average Mexican woman to have better family values than the average Colombian woman
Winner: Mexico
Factor 13: English Levels
In Colombia, you will find English levels to be highest in places like Bogota, Medellin or Cartagena.
While in Mexico, English levels are higher in places like Mexico City, Tijuana, Monterrey, Guadalajara, etc.
However, English levels are much better in Mexico than in Colombia overall ā even outside the touristiest cities.
It is much easier to find a Mexican woman to speak English in completely non-touristy cities versus finding one in Colombia.
One of the reasons for that is because there are so many Mexicans that have spent time in the US or have family in the US.
Also, American culture is much stronger in Mexico than in the US.
Additionally, there is more labor demand for English speakers in Mexico than in Colombia.
All around, you will find a lot more English speakers in Mexico than in Colombia ā though to be fair, Colombia is trying to improve itself in this area by investing in English education.
But as of right nowā¦
Winner: Mexico
Factor 14: Enjoyableness
Again, another tough factor to consider here.
There are plenty of very enjoyable women in both countries.
However, Iād have to give it to Colombia on this one.
If American cultural influence was less strong in Mexico, then Iād think Iād go with Mexico because the women there are also a bit more faithful overall.
But because of that issue, Iād think Iād have to give it to Colombia ā especially since it isnāt too hard to find more faithful women in places like Pasto or PopayĆ”n.
On top of that, Colombian women are all around much better looking and more enjoyable in the bedroom as well.
Winner: Colombia
Factor 15: Desire to Please
Between the two, Colombia wins in this one overall.
On one hand, Colombian women are more sexually pleasing by far in the bedroom.
On the other hand, Mexican women do cook all around better ā despite Colombian women showing a similar interest in cooking for their men also. It just happens to be that Mexican food is better though.
And both countries have feminine women as well as faithful girls also.
The one thing here that gives Colombia the advantage is the same issue as mentioned in the last factor ā the influence of the US.
Because of American influence in Mexico, itās becoming less common for Mexican women to want to please their men. Especially with the younger generation.
Though you can find one that enjoys pleasing her man in either country, Colombia wins here overall because of the lesser American influence.
Winner: Colombia
Final Thoughts
In short, if you want to enjoy a nice Latina woman, you canāt go wrong with either Mexico or Colombia.
Even though Colombia wins overall on 8 points against the 7 points Mexico won, it is still quite clearly a tough comparison.
As said earlier in this article, Mexico is one of the few other Latin countries I would give strong consideration for moving to if Colombia didnāt exist.
So both countries are amazing and the women in both countries are very enjoyable to be with.
