20 Tips for Banging Colombian University Students

Way back in 2006, I left the United States to study in a few courses in Barranquilla, Colombia.

When I showed up, I didn’t know anybody in this country initially and was quite nervous all around.

However, I eventually met some nice Colombian girls here and there

And eventually met a lot more as time went on

Quite a of these girls that I met initially were at the university I was taking a few courses in while there

And with some of these Colombianas that I met, we went to parties

I went to some nearby beaches with some of them

Or invited some of them back to my place for a good time 😉

Now when looking back at my initial experience in Colombia, I realized now that was a unique opportunity

Why?

Because most foreigners who come to Colombia are not using the university system they have here to get laid

Most are going to Parque Lleras in Medellin or some other very touristy area to meet chicks

Which is fine – since you can meet sexy Colombian women that way

But you are missing out if you don’t use every tool available to you to get laid here

By enrolling in any class in a local university down here, you can get laid with plenty of Colombian women that other foreign men are not seeing

You will be ahead of the competition overall and having a more enjoyable time doing so

But don’t you need English to enroll in a local university?

Not necessarily!

Here are 20 tips to help you get started on learning how to bang Colombian university students

Tip 1: Age Issues

First, let’s be realistic about who can and cannot enroll in a local university to bang Colombian students.

Realistically speaking, you have to look at least a little bit closer to the age of the students you are approaching. Now it varies somewhat by how old the girl is also in terms of how old you can be.

For example, if you are approaching undergraduate students in their very early 20s, then you shouldn’t aim for more than a 10 year difference.

Now a 15 year difference is also possible but you’d be pushing it at that time.

Of course, if you look younger than you are, you can use that to your advantage also

But what about 20 year differences? Are those possible?

Well, as said in another article on age differences, you do see 20 year age gaps in Colombia

But girls that are studying at private universities are much less open to that. You’d have better luck to girls studying at public universities when going for an age gap like that.

Next, if you manage to enroll in a postgraduate course or two in Colombia, the women will be older obviously. In this case, a 20 year age gap will be a little more acceptable but still pushing it. But you could more easily do 10 to 15 year age gaps in my opinion with this crowd.

Finally, you need to also be mindful of a critical difference in the Colombian university system – not every girl is above 18 years old!

In the US, almost all (if not all) the women you see are over 18 in colleges up there.

However, in Colombia, there are some people as young as 16 even!

So obviously keep that in mind when deciding which woman to talk to. This might be one reason why postgraduate schools are nicer because you don’t have this problem.

But it’s a minor problem anyway because most Colombian women won’t be under 18 from what I remember studying in Barranquilla

Tip 2: Cost?

I don’t remember the exact amount of money I paid to study in Barranquilla but I don’t believe it was more than a $1,000 USD.

So I did some quick research at some universities I could find in Colombia.

From what I can see, it looks like pre-graduate courses can be as low as about $300 USD more or less per course.

So for purposes of doing this to get laid, I’d say enroll in just one university course and you’ll spend about $300 USD from what I can see.

Which brings us to the next point…

Tip 3: Go to Class?

If your Spanish is weak, I’d recommend you trying out a basic Spanish class if you can find one.

Some Spanish class for foreigners to learn the language. Overall, it will help you get laid in Colombia if your Spanish is better.

Now you don’t necessarily have to go to class anyway regardless of your Spanish level

The only reason you are enrolling is to get access to the universities that are private and require an ID to get inside

In my experience, professors in Colombia are not always very strict in attendance – I don’t believe they would notify anyone to cancel away your ID if you never showed up.

Though I could be wrong on that! I just don’t think it would happen given our relaxed everything is down here.

So if you feel the Spanish class itself would be a waste of time, only show up occasionally or maybe don’t even show up at all.

Your choice. I’d recommend it though for those who need more help with your Spanish

After all, it’s only a few hours a week

Tip 4: Visa Issues

If you get signed up ahead of time for a course in a university before showing up to Colombia, you might be eligible for a student visa.

You will likely have a document showing that you are to be enrolled in a course. Then when you arrive, the migration officer at the airport will stamp your passport to indicate you have a student visa.

This is known as a TP-3 Visa. The visa itself is usually valid for the time in which you are enrolled.

Which could mean an entire year or maybe just 6 months.

Now why is this nice?

Because in Colombia, you can only be in this country as a tourist for 6 months out of every calendar year from January to December. Once those 6 months are up, you are required to leave Colombia until the next year starts in January again.

For those thinking of living in Colombia for longer than 6 months, this can be an issue.

Now I remember when I stayed in Colombia on a student visa in Barranquilla. It lasted for one semester I believe if my memory serves right.

And you know what happened after my semester was over? I went home to visit family.

But I actually went back to Colombia only a month later after my time as a student was over to visit a girl I was dating at the time.

And even though I lived in Colombia on a student visa for about 6 months or so (more or less), I was able to enter Colombia again on a tourist visa.

Where I got 6 more months approved and only stayed anyway for another month or two before going back home to finish college.

So by enrolling in a student visa first, if things are still the same, you can then stay longer in Colombia than just 6 months.

Which means more time to bang hot Colombian girls.

But what would be the best way to do this?

Well, in my opinion, I think it would be better to do this depending on how long you plan to stay as a tourist after your student visa would expire.

So let’s look at it like this:

  • Option 1: Enroll in a university for 6 months from January to July. Leave and enter Colombia again on a tourist visa for 6 more months until December. Now you got a full year in Colombia. But if you want more time, you can simply re-enter the country again on another tourist visa in January since the new year has started. So a year and a half basically uninterrupted.
  • Option 2: Enroll on a student visa for one year from the summer (maybe July) to the following summer for one year. Then leave and re-enter on a tourist visa for 6 more months until December. Then re-enter on a tourist visa again when January has hit. Now you have 2 years in Colombia that is basically uninterrupted.

Of course, if you can get a student visa to last longer than a year or multiple student visas, you might not even need the tourist visa anyway for quite some time or ever.

Just depends on how much time you want and your circumstances.

And all of this will help you stay in the country longer than 6 months legally without breaking any visa rules.

Which, by the way, plenty of foreigners do when in Colombia. The fines are usually at least $120 USD or 350,000 COP from what I have read online. Not encouraging this but if you ever do find yourself in that situation, this is what you might face in terms of fines.

Tip 5: Spanish Not as Necessary

When studying in a university in Colombia, your Spanish skills might not be as necessary to have success with the women here.

First, if you study at a private university that is closed off, it is less likely. Students that can afford to study there usually come from wealthier families.

That means they were more likely to have learned English growing up in a private school or even have taken trips to the US, Canada or Europe.

Of course, at public universities, it is less likely they will speak English but still very possible.

Also, if the university is located in a bigger city like Medellin, Cartagena or Bogota, then even more likely they will speak English.

And less likely in places like Cali, Barranquilla, Pereira, Popayán, etc

Tip 6: More Materialistic

If studying in a private university in Colombia, it is more likely the women will be materialistic

Especially so in a private university in a place like Bogota or Medellin

But this is less of an issue in public universities or in smaller cities that are not as touristy or wealthy

Just keep that in mind when approaching women here

Tip 7: Are You Exotic?

Similar to some of the last points, your novelty as a foreigner will vary depending on where you are.

In private universities, you are going to be less exotic as a foreigner. Especially in those wealthier cities.

In large part because the women here come from wealthier families that might be wealthier then you are

And also it is more likely they have taken trips to places like the US or Europe

In public universities or in smaller cities that are not touristy, you are going to be more exotic overall as a foreigner

Tip 8: Advantage of the Gringo Passport

Now let’s say you don’t want to enroll in a university but still want to go to some of the private ones to meet hot Colombian women

Possible?

Yes

Now it’s less likely and will be trickier but it can happen

Back when I studied in Barranquilla, I remember that I forgot my ID once when going to the university

However, I simply showed them a copy of my passport page and explained my situation in a funny accent

The guard let me in with no problem despite not even knowing me!

So it can work but I don’t think they would do this for anyone

If you were Colombian for example, I’m confident they wouldn’t have let me in.

The guard didn’t have a computer system or anything to check if I was a student but trusted me anyway

Why?

Because sometimes foreigners from more developed countries like the US are simply trusted more

After all, what’s the likelihood that a foreigner from the US would travel all the way to Colombia to steal some random person’s phone in this university or cause chaos?

Not likely.

So they trust you overall a lot more. They assume you are actually enrolled there and let you in when they see the passport page and hear the funny accent.

Now I’m not saying this will work most of the time but it can possibly work. It worked for me anyway!

And I have seen plenty of cases where Colombians overall trust foreigners more because they assume we are very well educated and are not going to cause problems

Even though, as a side note, we aren’t necessarily but that’s part of the advantage of being a gringo in a country like Colombia

An advantage that can work in your favor on multiple accounts – including outside of trying to meet and date women down here

But that’s a topic for another article

Let’s get back to these tips….

Tip 9: Demographic Differences

One thing I have noticed is that Colombian students that study at private universities tend to be whiter overall.

Why is that the case?

Well, in Latin America more broadly, you will find racial inequalities

And so whiter Colombians are simply more likely to have more money in general and can afford more often the nicer universities

Whereas you will see more Colombians that are not white in public universities

Just keep those demographics in mind depending on if you have a preference generally speaking

Tip 10: More Security in Private Universities

There are plenty of places in Colombia that generally feel very unsafe.

However, in private universities, things tend to be very safe in those areas.

I remember seeing students having laptops and nice phones out when I studied in Barranquilla

Where their electronics were just laying out in the open and quite often not always very well supervised

If some thief could get access to one of these universities for just 30 minutes, the guy could walk out with a decent amount of expensive stuff

Assuming anyway that the campus security doesn’t notice

Which, as I’m hinting at here, the security at these private universities is quite nice overall

Much stricter on who can enter (assuming you are not a foreigner I suppose) and also more watchful of belongings

It might not be perfect though but nothing is

So if you prefer to approach women and meet some cute Colombian chicks in safety, these private universities would be almost as ideal as you can get

Tip 11: Direct Game or Indirect Game?

First, you can meet Colombian students either in the classroom or somewhere on campus obviously.

But in either scenario, indirect game is best here.

Now that’s not to say you couldn’t get some numbers with direct game but you have to be more careful

You can’t just go from girl to girl all day long doing direct game on every cute girl you see

Campuses tend to be smaller and also there’s usually some security at the private universities

So obviously someone is going to notice if you just approach every cute girl with direct game and will wonder what you are doing

So be indirect in your approaches with some flirtation also

Tip 12: Have Whatsapp and Instagram

Whatsapp is an app that most people here use for sending texts and making calls. It’s free to use domestically and internationally as long as you got Wifi.

So when approaching women here in the universities or anywhere, have Whatsapp ready. Then ask for her number so you can find her on Whatsapp

Or ask for her Instagram! If she sees your Instagram and if it looks solid, that could raise your value in her eyes.

But anyway, use indirect game to get the number or Instagram and go on from there. Don’t approach every girl obviously and it should work out well

Tip 13: SJWs?

Understandably, some guys might feel cautious about going to a university to get laid if they are from the US or Canada

After all, aren’t there a lot of social justice warriors (SJWs) at these college campuses?

Well, not in Colombia

From what I have seen, most of the social justice warrior types in Colombia are quite rare to see and not as seriously taken

But the ones that do exist tend to be at private universities in Medellin or Bogota

Outside of those cities, you will almost definitely not see one – especially in less touristy places like Barranquilla or Cali

And even in Bogota or Medellin, I simply wouldn’t worry about it given how few of them exist and how they are not taken as seriously

Tip 14: Make Guy Friends

Don’t just meet women when using universities to meet people. Make some guy friends also.

First, you will get lonely if you live here by yourself. Those girls you hookup with will only be with you for occasional dates and hookups.

It’s much nicer to have some guy friends that you can talk with and have a beer with. Of course, age differences matter here also. Would be difficult to make guy friends if they are in their 20s and you are 50.

I mean, what are you two going to have in common?

So if you are over 30, it might not be a bad idea to go to a post graduate course or two where more guys closer to your age would be.

And overall, having guy friends can also help you get laid. Make a friend or two and they can invite you to parties where you can be introduced to more women

All around, it works in your favor for many reasons to make some real friends here obviously

Tip 15: Better for Long Term Girlfriends

Throughout most of this article, we have been talking about doing this for hooking up

And definitely, you can hook up with plenty of chicks doing this

However, in my opinion, I believe this approach would be even better for finding a long term girlfriend

After all, you can meet a girl that is more likely to be stable and have something going on in her life

Instead of just sitting home all day and not doing much like a certain amount of Colombian women do from what I have seen

On top of that, I have seen more women in private universities that are more conservative and less likely to be the type to just have sex on a first date than in most places outside

So overall, you can increase your chances of finding a solid serious Colombian girlfriend at one of these private universities

Tip 16: Are Hookups Hard Then?

In my experience, women at public universities tend to be a little bit easier for hooking up with than women at private universities.

At private universities, there definitely are women that are down to sleep with you but more often they will make you wait one or maybe two dates first.

While one night stands were easier for me with women from public universities

But waiting an extra date or two dates even if not too bad overall. That won’t take too long to get through until you two have sex anyway.

However, there is a certain type of woman you should look for while at the private or public universities if you want to hookup…

Tip 17: Miss World Traveler

If the woman you are speaking to has traveled to the US, Canada or Europe, they tend to be easier in my experience.

Not sure why entirely but overall they just tend to be more liberal and down to have sex on the first date than other types of Colombian women

And usually these chicks speak English pretty well or decently so it’s even easier to identify them. They tend to try to speak English to you no matter how good your Spanish is because they want to practice

While also showing off to others that they can speak English to some degree

But anyway, if you are looking for a chick that is going to be easier than others at these universities, then keep in mind the ones that have traveled abroad to places like the US, Canada or Europe

Tip 18: The Ideal Logistics for Hookups

As mentioned in this article I wrote here, you want your dates to be close to where you are

Now it might make sense to some of you to set up your apartment or Airbnb near the universities because you might try approaching women there

But don’t

First off, plenty of these chicks don’t even live near those universities anyway – they often just study there. Not necessarily live near there

Second, you don’t want to forget the other women you can meet while being in whatever Colombian city you are in.

After all, you are not only going for university students, right?

Plenty of fish in the sea!

So make sure to not fall into the mistake of believing you should be located near a university

Instead, as written about here, you should aim for having your apartment near a nice shopping mall or two and ideally have a nice park, bar or café near you also

Because Colombian women first usually like meeting at shopping malls to begin the date and then take the date somewhere else like a café, park, bar or your place eventually

Second, as I wrote about here, a park, a bar or a café are ideal locations to begin the date.

And all of this talk about logistics brings me to another point…

Tip 19: Nicer Areas over Normal Ones

And finally, you want these women coming to a place near you to begin the date so you have the best logistics for eventually bringing them back to your place.

A lot of these wealthier Colombian women from private universities are less likely to want to go to more normal neighborhoods to visit you

So ideally you are located in a nicer neighborhood near a nicer shopping mall to meet up first

As said before, the girls in private universities tend to be (but not always) a little more materialistic. So for their crowd, you are more likely to want to base yourself near a nicer area.

And of course, you’d want to anyway given that other Colombian chicks you meet outside the university would be more likely to go there anyway

On top of that, your area would be safer for you also so keep that all in mind

Tip 20: How Long Are You Here?

This is a question that you will often get when dealing with Colombian women in the universities or outside of them

Now most of the time it can be an innocent question

In other cases, like with women from Medellin, it can be a question to help them determine if you are there to just bang Colombian women and leave

Like a sex tourist in their eyes

Which, as mentioned here in this article I wrote, is one of the problems you might occasionally experience when dating in Medellin

Either way, it’s up to you to disclose this information or not to her

If you are staying there longer, it usually helps you overall in the eyes of the women you are talking with

Though some of the chicks that are just looking for a hookup don’t usually care all that much about this

But plenty of women that are not just looking for a hookup will care a little bit more about how serious you are as a guy living in her country

Though you can hookup with them anyway and still admit to only being in her country for a few months

But as I said before, that doesn’t help you usually in saying something like that

So I recommend for most guys to stay silent on this question and simply answer that you like Colombia and not sure how long you will be there.

Often times keeping things a mystery with women can be more helpful than answering every question. Women can often look for reasons to disqualify you sexually and be quite picky. So in different cases it can be helpful to keep her guessing and be vague and playful about it too.

Don’t say “I don’t want to answer” but more like “we’ll see – depends on how much I like spending time here.”

Keep it vague and playful and it will work more in your favor overall.

Again, this isn’t the biggest issue on this list that you will face when trying to bang Colombian university students but does need a quick mention

Final Thoughts

In short, hopefully this article provided some key insight into how to get started banging Colombian university students

This is something that most foreigners don’t do here since most don’t think about it

Or have not spent enough time to really integrate themselves into the society here and to think of more different ways to get laid

So by following the advice in this article, you will be another step to being ahead of the competition and banging plenty of hot Colombian university students
