10 Reasons to Relax at a Finca with Your Colombian Girl

As mentioned in another article I wrote, I once enjoyed the city of Manizales with a very beautiful Colombian woman that I was dating at the time

We had gotten serious to the point where I decided to take her on a nice experience

Now I don’t usually do this with most women I hang out with

For most women, the best experience you might get out of me will either be in the bedroom or at a park, a bar or a café

Perhaps some additional experience here and there at a restaurant or a nice hike together or the beach if we have been hooking up for a while now and I like you

But for the rare woman here and there that I have been sleeping with and are nice enough personally..

Where we just simply connect and really enjoy our time together

I don’t mind at all taking a chick like that on a really special experience

And in Manizales, we spent a good time at a finca in Colombia called Mirador Finca Morrogacho

Now what is a finca?

In Colombia, a finca to tourists is typically a holiday home in a more rural area of the country. They often make great places to visit to escape the urban life and take a small vacation with someone special

And the scenery at this place that we went to was special…

Plenty of lush green mountains, blue skies, birds and more to see in the general area

Now at this place, they had a nice table with some chairs where we sat down and could see miles of lush green scenery in front of us

And the service and food were good also

All around definitely worth the money and the experience when we went there some time ago

And so for those men out there that have a special Colombian woman in their life, I strongly recommend you take your girl to a finca

Just make sure you have enough time on your hands and that she has enough time on her hands

Schedule a trip together and go enjoy yourselves

But why is a trip like this so special for someone that has a serious girl by his side?

Let’s look at ten reasons for why you should enjoy spending time at a finca with your Colombian girl in Colombia

Reason 1: Part of Colombian Culture

In Colombia, families that have enough money to enjoy a finca often do during vacations

It’s not uncommon for families that can afford it because it’s a great experience all around to relax in the countryside

So if you wish to enjoy an experience that is common enough in a country like Colombia, then this is something for you to consider

It all around is an experience that will expose you to something Colombians enjoy and something that most foreigners don’t get to enjoy

Because most of them are chasing women in Medellin, seeing the beaches near Santa Marta or something else that is more common among foreign tourists that are not from Latin America

So in short, you will be enjoying something that is part of Colombian culture in a way that is overall a unique experience that not every foreigner gets to see

Reason 2: Rewarding Vacation

As already mentioned in this article plenty of times…

Going to a finca can be overall a very rewarding vacation for those who enjoy it.

With all the lush green scenery in the countryside

Or perhaps a nice pool that you can enjoy alone with your Colombian girl

To all the amazing food and drinks that can come with the experience

If you happen to be working very hard and need a time to relax, why not take a break and relax while you are here in Colombia?

And what would be a good time to go enjoy a finca?

Reason 3: Great Time to Visit During the Holidays

Now it really depends on when exactly both you and your Colombian girl can make the time for this to work

After all, she might be working quite a bit also!

It’s not too uncommon for Colombians to be working insane hours in this country as bosses tend to be more exploitative and demanding from what I have seen

But most often is the case that she will probably have some time during the holidays to enjoy a finca

The only issue though is that she might want to enjoy time with her family or her family might want that also

So you are going to have to plan well ahead and make sure she is down for this

But sometime during Semana Santa in February or March would be ideal for this

Or perhaps during the New Year

Reason 4: Escape the Urban Life

For those that get tired of the big city like Cartagena, Bogota or Medellin….

This is the best experience you can get outside of visiting the Amazon Rainforest in Colombia

Where you can finally escape all the noise, traffic, pollution and chaos that the big city life brings

Having been born in Detroit, I have experienced the urban life during most of my time on this planet and it gets to me also

Nothing better than being able to put your phone away and not have to check emails for a while

Gmail?

What is that?!?

Boss calling?

He doesn’t exist for at least a week now!

And during this time, you can experience the Colombian countryside with everything it has to offer

Reason 5: Allows More Intimacy with Someone Special

And while you enjoy escaping the urban life for the Colombian countryside, you can enjoy this moment with someone special

It really is ideal for that since I would obviously never take some girl I’m just hooking up with to one of these places

If you are very serious with someone in your life, this is where you can finally escape everything else in life

And spend these days alone with someone you really enjoy being with

No boss, no annoying neighbors, no homeless dude demanding that you give him money…

All of that gone to be alone and intimate with your Colombian partner

Reason 6: Good Experience to See if Compatible

While ideally you will already have a good idea if you are compatible with your Colombian girl, this experience can help verify that for you

In my life, I have often noticed that traveling alone with someone is another way to see if you two are compatible

After all, the experience of traveling somewhere involves quite a bit

And you two have to learn how to work with each other while traveling

Which can actually be harder than it sounds since you two will actually be living together for a week

And also planning a trip together and working out the details of what you two want to get out of the experience and more

Overall, it’s a minor test that is worth going through to see how compatible you two are in the long term

Reason 7: Nicer Amenities & Service

Compared to hotels, I often find that fincas have nicer amenities and a lot more privacy overall

They are a much more rewarding experience – especially as hotels can usually be dirtier and have more of a corporate feel to them

Where to the hotel you might just be another number that they are only interested in profiting from

Instead of making sure you have a great experience

Not to say there aren’t good hotels out there – there are!

Just that a finca is overall a much more personal experience with better amenities and service to your personal needs

Where your experience feels much more authentic

Reason 8: Historical Significance

Keep in mind that fincas were not created just 10 years ago

Many of them across Latin America actually have quite a bit of historical significance

Where they were often used during the colonial era even

So many of the fincas that you come across will have even as much as 300 years of history behind them

And the people that help run or own these fincas often have a lot of personal and professional knowledge about the history of the finca you are going to

Including the history of the area surrounding it

So if you are interested in getting to experience a piece of Colombian history and learn a bit, this is a great opportunity

Reason 9: See a New Part of Colombia

Over the years of living in Colombia, so many of the other foreigners I have seen come here tend to go to Medellin, Bogota or Cartagena

Some of them will go to Barranquilla or Cali as those places are becoming more popular

Or perhaps Santa Marta to see the beaches

However, relatively few of them will go to places like Pereira or Manizales

And if you are going to experience a finca in Colombia, those are two great cities to visit as you get to your finca eventually

In general, you will be able to experience a new part of Colombia that not many people see

Not just the finca but also the nearby cities like Pereira or Manizales for example

Or many of the numerous other cities or towns in Colombia where you can find a beautiful finca nearby also

Reason 10: Good Value for Your Buck

To be able to enjoy an experience similar to this in the US, you’d probably be looking at least $200 USD a night if not so much more.

Whereas the finca I mentioned earlier in this article was around $25 USD per night more or less

And that was one of the cheaper fincas I have been to – there are fincas that are much more expensive than that

But there are also fincas that are much cheaper and still offer an amazing experience

In short, there’s guaranteed to be a good finca for you to enjoy regardless of your budget for the most part

So enjoy this amazing experience at the low cost! You won’t find this type of opportunity in most of the world.
