- List of Cities by Casual Sex & Infidelity in Colombia
Over my initial years in Colombia, I spent quite a bit of time from city to city getting to meet numerous women and enjoying the nightlife and casual sex culture that exists in different parts of this country. Therefore, I have seen a lot of casual sex & infidelity in Colombia with that.
In those times, it became very apparent to me just how easy Colombian women can be at times
Here in Colombia, the whole “Catholic” religion aspect of Colombian society doesn’t seem to have much impact on all the casual hookups that happen here
Nor does it stop all the infidelity that happens here either
In fact, casual sex and infidelity are such common place in certain large cities in Colombia that other foreigners I know have even asked the question….
Can I find a faithful woman in Colombia?
A nice girl who won’t cheat on me and would be ideal for raising a family with?
Well, definitely you can
In any country there are women like that
Especially with the help of professional companies like Dream Connections that has helped plenty of men find a faithful and feminine wife in Colombia
But the bigger questions come up when you start understanding the nuances of life in Colombia and how the culture is indifferent parts of the country
The reality is that not all of Colombia is the same
And of course, not every Colombian woman is the same either
So in this article we will be breaking it down simply in terms of where you should look if you want to find a more serious woman
By looking at which cities, based from my experience, have more casual sex & infidelity in Colombia
Where basically we will have a color coded ranking system to give you an idea of where to look in Colombia
In each list, the cities at the top will be the better options and the cities closer to the bottom will be worse options

Comparing the Cities on the List
Throughout my years living in Colombia, I often spent some time in each of the cities mentioned on this list
There were some general things I have noticed
Which are not always true but often were
First, casual sex and infidelity often but not always went together. Where women were easier to have sex with, the more infidelity I saw in a certain area
For example, women who were located in certain regions – such as the Caribbean Coast, the Coffee Triangle area, the Pacific Coast or the area close to Cúcuta – often were more unfaithful than in other parts
Though, as said before, this tendency did not always hold true
For example, while Cartagena is considered to be a very negative city to find a potential wife in the red list, you also have Barranquilla (a nearby city) on the yellow list
And above that, you have Riohacha in the green list – another city that is not too far away from either Cartagena or Barranquilla
Why the difference?
Well, Cartagena has a few things going for it – most notably a more liberal in terms of hookup culture
And Riohacha I found to be even more conservative than either of those two cities when it came to hookup culture and infidelity
In contrast, there were other areas where women tended to be more faithful and where casual sex was less common – in area such as Popayán and some of the nearby cities to that area
Additionally, some of the cities in and Andean mountain region also tended to have more faithful and conservative women – though this was not always the case
Also, after having spent a long time in Bogota, one interesting thing to note here is that there are plenty of women here who are more conservative and less likely to cheat
Therefore, even though casual sex is not hard to have here as it is a big city that has plenty of easier women using Tinder or going to nightlife venues for fun
Moreover, I often found a correlation between how urbanized an area was and how more likely the women were to be unfaithful or how strong the hookup culture was
This is likely in part because smaller cities in Colombia often resemble at times small towns in the US and it is closer to an environment where everyone knows everyone
And with that, you have a more conservative culture
Again, it isn’t always the case that a smaller area is going to be more conservative but it was a trend that I noticed in Colombia
Important Observations
Finally, it needs to be kept in mind that the lists provided above are in no way scientific obviously
They are based entirely on my own experience and also some experience of friends I have made here in Colombia
Additionally, there shouldn’t be too much emphasis placed on how far up or down a city is on a particular list
For example, Cali is higher on the list than Manizales
And while it is true that I would trust an average woman from Cali to not cheat on me as much than a woman from Manizales….
I still wouldn’t recommend that you look for a serious woman in either city based on my experience here
That isn’t to say though that you can’t find a serious Colombian woman who is nice and high quality for in either city
In the same way that you can definitely find a woman in Bogota or Popayán that is very low quality and is likely to cheat on you
It’s just that in my experience you are less likely to find a woman like that in Popayán than in Manizales
Similarly, you are less likely to find an unfaithful woman in Bogota than in Cali
On that same note…
Let’s say that you are in Pereira or Medellin and you find a woman that you really like and that you don’t notice any red flags
I would encourage you not to forget her just because she happens to be from one of these cities – like anything else, you can absolutely find a faithful woman in either one of those cities
I’m just saying that it’s less likely and with limited time in this world, wouldn’t you want to more efficiently use the time you got?
On a last note, this list took in absolutely no consideration in regards to how livable these cities are. I only focused on how strong the hookup culture and infidelity seemed to be.
