All of the links you see here are mostly from Amazon and other companies as well that offer products or services that will be of great use to you while in Colombia.

Colombian Cupid is one of the best programs I have seen on the internet for dating Colombian women. Based on my personal experience with Cupid Media, this is a great resource for meeting nice women in other countries.
Latin American Cupid is another website that is operated by Cupid Media. On this website, you can meet nice women from Colombia and even other parts of Latin America if you are interested.
Find Your International Wife Video Program is a great resource for men that want to begin finding a faithful, traditional and loving woman that can be your wife in a beautiful country like Colombia.
Dream Connections is a great company that offers plenty of services to find a loving and genuine wife in a country like Colombia. Some of these services includes not only digital products such as the video program listed above but also very useful Romance Tours. These tours can give you the necessary help in finding love in Colombia.
International Bride Boot Camp is another amazing resource offered by the founder of Dream Connections. In this 12 week online course, you will learn how to have dating success abroad and how to identify high quality women to date while abroad.
Hookup Spanish Phrasebook for Love and Romantic Relations is a decent book for those with minimal to no Spanish and would like to get their Spanish good enough for specifically dating women in Latin America.
Vistas Introduccion A La Lengua Espanola is one of the best textbooks I have seen when it comes to learning Spanish. Very easy to use with plenty of useful vocabulary and grammar explanations. It also has different excercises to help you practice learning the language. When I first started learning Spanish, I first used other resources by the same company of this book, Vista Higher Learning. I also have this book and it is a amazing resource to use.
Duolingo is a good website that offers free material to practice your Spanish. From my experience, it complements well any more formalized services or materials you may use to learn the Spanish language. Worth using!
Smart Voice Language Translator Device is a great device that can be used to translate in both ways English and Spanish (including 45 other languages). I have known other foreigners in Colombia that have used this device or other similar devices when they have limited Spanish and want to meet Colombian women. While on a date, this device will translate what you are saying into Spanish and what she is saying into English. Very helpful.
Zero Grid Neck Wallet w/RFID Blocking is a concealed travel pouch & passport holder that works great for protecting your most essential items while traveling.
Theft Proof Backpack is a good resource for protecting your belongings while traveling in Colombia. It is also very reasonably priced for how well it works.
UPPEL Travel Adapter is a worldwide travel adapter is something that I have always in case I ever decide to take a trip to a country where I would need it.

Addalock – Portable Door Lock is a good resource for adding extra protection to your apartment. Works within seconds and very easy to use to make sure you are extra safe while staying at an apartment, AirBnB rental or somewhere else.
Lewis N Clark Travel Door Alarm is another good tool to protecting yourself at whatever rental or hotel that you are staying at. The bonus with this specific product is that it also produces a high pitched sound when activated.
Ledmark Heavyweight Cotton Canvas Outback Duffle Bag is a high quality bag to have while traveling to Colombia. Very reliable.
Master Lock 5900D is a small safe that you can take with you while traveling. It works well with protecting your items.

Timberland Men’s White Ledge Mid Waterproof Ankle Boot is another good item to bring with you to Colombia. From my experience, Colombian women really take note of a man’s appearance and having a nice pair of 100% leather boots will help you in appearing well to Colombian women.
VOSTEY Men’s Dress Shoes Leather Brogue Wingtip Oxford Shoes are 100% leather shoes that will help you more easily get the interest of some nice and beautiful Colombian women down here. Just as important, they are also very comfortable from my experience.
Michael Kors Stainless Steel Gage Watch with Navy Dial is a great watch that is reasonably priced for the quality that it offers. As mentioned before, Colombian women notice when a man is dressed nicely. With that said, having a decent quality watch such as this will help you stand out in the dating scene in Colombia from my experience.
Lonely Planet Colombia is a decent book for those with minimal knowledge about Colombia and are taking their first trip to the country. I always buy a book from Lonely Planet before going to a completely new country.
Moon Colombia is a great addition to what Lonely Planet offers in that this book also offers useful information on specific parts of Colombia, including Bogota, Medellin & the Coffee Region, Cartagena & the Caribbean Region, Cali, The Amazon, San Andres, Boyaca and more.
The Rational Male is one of the best books to help men learn how to properly deal with women. The advice in this book is applicable to women from any country that I have seen, including Colombian women. An absolute must read for any man in any country.
Bachelor Pad Economics is another good book that gives great advice for life in general for men, including dating advice as well. This book goes well with The Rational Male and also serves for helping you improve your life in general.
Killing Pablo is one of the best and most interesting books about Pablo Escobar. It goes until great detail on the US efforts during their manhunt to kill Pablo Escobar. If interested in more details on this subject, check out this great documentary on Youtube that discusses this topic also.
Colombia – Culture Smart!: The Essential Guide to Customs & Culture is one of the best books on modern Colombian culture and will help you have a good time here as it is important to understand the culture before showing up.
Mad Outta Me Head is an interesting book that looks at the Colombian underworld with the real and personal details provided by an Irishman that witnessed some of the uglier violence that occurs in Colombia.
One Hundred Years of Solitude is one of the best Colombian novels ever produced by the famous Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez. If you are interested in practicing your Spanish and your Spanish is strong enough, I’d recommend to read the Spanish version of this book instead.
Collected Stories is a great book that has 26 additional short stories written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This book serves as a great addition to reading One Hundred Years of Solitude.
The Colombian Reader provides over 100 selections that give you deeper insight into Colombian history and culture. This book serves well to improve your understanding of Colombia.
Avianca: For traveling to Latin America, Avianca is a great airline and you can often find cheap flights to and within Latin America between different cities in Colombia or elsewhere.
Hotels.com: This is one of my preferred websites to go to for booking a hotel.
Get Transfer: If you are in need of a taxi service anywhere, this company can help out.
Airport Parking Reservations: Plan your trip well and make sure to save on airport parking.
TripAdvisor: I always use TripAdvisor before going anywhere as they often have reliable information from my experience.
AirBnB is decent for short term stays while in Colombia.
Facebook is also another option where you can find Facebook groups where people post apartments or homes that they are either renting or selling.
Fincaraiz is a great website for finding an apartment. One of my favorites.
Encuentra24 is another good website and tends to have more options than most websites I have noticed.
El Tiempo has a classified section with apartments listed in different cities in Colombia.
Apts Colombia is an OK option for finding an apartment. It doesn’t have as many updated options as other websites but is worth checking out.
Metro Cuadrado has decent places also and is also a better option if you are looking to buy and not rent.
Mercado Libre is one of my favorite websites in general. Has plenty of good apartment options but also plenty of other things you can buy while in Colombia. If you plan to live in this counry, make sure to save this website into your computer when you are shopping online in general.
Comparto Apto is a good option if you are looking for a cheaper apartment from what I have seen. The only issue is that the quality of the places you get here are not as nice from my experience.
iCasas is another website I would check out. It has good options but I found it more difficult to get people to respond to my requests from this website. Still had a decent option either way.
Finally, it is also always a good option to look for apartments while here in person. You will notice different places that are nice and up for rent while walking through the streets of whatever city you plan to be in.
The following list includes online news for very specific cities in Colombia. So depending on which city you are going to visit in Colombia, make sure to check out the recommended online news for that area. This is also a good way to practice your Spanish by reading Colombian news!

El Tiempo is based in Bogota, Colombia. This is my favorite news sources here.
La Patria is based in Manizales, Colombia.
El Pais is based in Cali, Colombia.
La Opinion is based in Cucuta, Colombia.
El Pais Vallenato is based in Valledupar, Colombia.
El Universal is based in Cartagena, Colombia.
Vanguardia is based in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
El Nuevo Dia is based in Ibagué, Colombia.
La Nacion is based in Neiva, Colombia.

Como es Pa’ Hoy is a great resource that provides a calendar with updated public events in major Colombian cities. A very useful tool to helping you know what to enjoy when here.
Tu Carro is a good resource for finding your own vehicle while in Colombia.
Linio is a good website for online shopping while in Colombia. Low prices with plenty to buy.
While all of the resources above are useful, please keep in mind a few additional tips so you can best enjoy Latin America.
1. Learn as much Spanish as possible. The more you know, the more enjoyable your time will be here.
2. Write down on a piece of paper the name, address and phone number of the place you are going to stay at on your first night in Latin America.
3. Write down on a piece of paper the address and all contact information of the embassy of your respective country.
4. Write down on a piece of paper the names, addresses and phone numbers of any local contacts you might have in Latin America.
5. Download Whatsapp on your phone. Most people use it here for communications.
6. Do your research ahead of time regarding the areas you are going to visit.
7. Make sure to buy your plane ticket ahead of time to save on airfare costs.
8. Notify your bank that you will be leaving the country soon.

10. Make sure to always use common sense, be aware of your surroundings and have fun!
