In order to have dating success with Colombian women, it’s important to understand the basics. Here’s a quick story that will illustrate a good dating Colombian women tip for those thinking of going to Colombia to meet sexy Colombianas.
Quick Story
While standing in the Buenavista mall in Barranquilla, I had just finished eating at an Italian restaurant many years ago when I was there.
In that moment, I see a cute Colombian girl who was around 5’4 in height, light brown skin and black hair in blue jeans and a red shirt looking at her phone.
She looked a little bit like this but with slightly darker skin
So I walk up to her and strike up a conversation with her
Very quickly she appeared interested in me and we exchanged numbers
It was a Friday afternoon and I asked her what she was doing later that night
She said that she had plans to go to a house party with some friends
Fortunately, she invited me along
I showed up having brought along another friend of mine that she said was fine to bring along with me
Another American that I had met while spending more time in Barranquilla during that year when I was teaching English there then
So we show up first to Buenavista mall again where we met her and then we went to where the house party was as she took us along
Which had mostly students from local universities in Colombia like Universidad del Norte and other places
While there, my friend had been getting to know a particular Colombian chick that was really showing a lot of interest in him
And by the end of the night they had gone back to his place from what I remember
For myself, I kept talking with the initial Colombian girl that I met at Buenavista mall in Barranquilla
However, to be honest, I wasn’t all that interested in her anymore
In large part because she had other friends at this house party that were notably more attractive than her
She was attractive herself without doubt but I saw that there was other opportunity here as well
Of course, I still gave her plenty of attention and talked with her quite a bit since she was the one who invited me here
And I was still a little bit interested in taking things more seriously with her
But while there, I had 3 different goals
First, finish the night well with the Colombian girl that invited me there and bring her back to my place
Second, make some friends with some of the local Colombian guys there. In my experience, making local friends always improves your experience in a different city.
Third, get some numbers from some of the girls at this house party that I could then meet up with one or two of them later.
And thankfully for me, I got a few numbers while spending time there
And though I don’t remember how many numbers I got from that time, I remember that one of the girls I met at that house party turned up later for a date that ended in a casual hookup
In addition, having made some new contacts while at this house party also made it easier to basically build on that in the future
Meaning getting invited to more house parties later and having more guy friends to just hang out with and drink a beer or two with
Which is always important when you are living in a new country and you don’t know anyone
You start to feel lonely and need to have some people to hang out with so you are not all by yourself
Which can translate to getting more experiences here and really making the most out of your time in Colombia regardless of how long you stay here

In order to really maximize your time in Colombia when it comes to dating women like the one above, you have to not leave opportunities on the table
Now when it comes to approaching women, most men tend to approach a chick with not much in mind
In which all he wants is sex with her specifically and that’s it
However, that is leaving opportunities on the table that you can use to maximize your experience while spending time here
By having approached that one girl, I got more than just having sex with her that same night after the house party
It ended up resulting in me making more friends with local Colombian guys
One of them being someone I still talk with occasionally and meet up with whenever I go back to Barranquilla
And those individuals you meet can be great friends that make you feel less lonely here and that care about you
Which is important when you are in a country where nobody knows you
And with that, you can check out new places that no other American like yourself would have heard about
Such as new bars or nightclubs that are mostly checked out by locals but still great
And also getting more insight into living in Colombia where sometimes you get told tips on how to handle certain situations that might seem foreign to you
Such as, for example, how to handle a bribe with a Colombian cop
On top of that, these house parties are also great for simply meeting more chicks
As described in the story itself
Now how does that work exactly?
Basically she invites you to a house party or some event that ideally has a lot of people in it
So that way you have more options for girls to approach and strike up a conversation with as you are simply just meeting new people
You maintain contact with the girl that invited you and keep showing interest in her
And through your time there, just casually collect a number or two from other chicks that you bump into while there
That’s it – maybe you meet up later or maybe you don’t
But overall the lessons here in this story serve as a useful dating Colombian women tip
Because in my case approaching that girl at the mall ended up to many other benefits beyond just having sex with her – having a good night, making new friends and meeting a new chick to have sex with that happened to be at that house party
So for those thinking of going to Colombia to enjoy the nightlife and women here, keep in mind that this can be a good way to meet new chicks
Of course, not every Colombian girl is going to house parties all the time
It’s just that the opportunity presented itself in that moment
So when it does present itself to you while here, make sure to take advantage of it
