- 5 Less Touristy Cities to Meet Colombian Women
In another article, I wrote about some of the best cities that you can visit to date Colombian women
However, in the end of that article, I suggested 5 more cities worth looking into.
Here we will be continuing that article to look into just a little more detail into the next 5 cities worth a visit when it comes to Colombian women.
Though people often think of cities like Medellin or Cartagena when it comes to meeting Colombian women, it should be remembered that there are endless cities in this country for meeting women
And so often the people writing about Colombia forget these lesser remembered cities for whatever reason
Perhaps in part because they have less experience here or only choose to stick to the more touristy cities
Regardless, it’s time to take a look into a few Colombian cities that have plenty of sexy women but relatively fewer tourists.

City 1: Bucaramanga
In Bucaramanga, this city is one of the lesser known great places to visit to meet Colombian women
A few of the reasons for why this city makes a great place to meet Colombian women includes:
- The women here are much more conservative than the women in other parts of Colombia. So while this isn’t good if you are looking for casual sex, it is great if you are looking for a Colombian woman to settle down with.
- Bucaramanga is still a relatively big city in Colombia, offering plenty of nightlife to enjoy with the women here.
- The women here tend to be a little bit less egotistical than some of the women in other parts of the country like Medellin.
- The women usually are better educated here and have a greater interest in learning than some of the other in other parts of Colombia.
- The city has endless amounts of parks as it is known as “the City of Parks.” For that reason, there is plenty to see in this city and also plenty of parks to meet women here also or go on a nice date.
One Major Downside to Bucaramanga:
If you are looking for casual sex, this is not the best city to visit as said before.
As a result, some of you may not be interested in visiting this city since I understand that some men are going to want just sex and others are more interested in finding something more serious.

City 2: Cúcuta
Furthermore, Cúcuta is another city in Colombia that deserves more attention than it gets. Here’s a few of the reasons why:
- The women here are some of the more beautiful women you will find among those in the Department of Norte de Santander and other neighboring Departments.
- Given the lack of tourists to the area, you are going to have more “foreign value” than you would in a city like Medellin or Cartagena.
- This city has a lot of Venezuelan women who have escaped Venezuela and now live in Colombia. This is because Cúcuta is right across the border from Venezuela. So if you want to enjoy nice Venezuelan women also, this city has plenty of them.
- The nightlife in this city is not bad and also some of the best nightlife in this general part of Colombia.
- Regarding casual sex, the women here tend to be a bit easier than what you will find in other lesser known cities like Bucaramanga or Popayán.
One Major Downside to Cúcuta
This city is a little bit more violent and dangerous than other cities in Colombia. For that reason, I would recommend you be more cautious here than normal and always remember to apply common sense.
Therefore, it would be a good idea to get more experience in less dangerous cities in Colombia first like Medellin or Bogota before coming here. Just to get you ready for this city and its beautiful women.
And of course — make sure to travel here safely. I would recommend getting a theft proof backpack or maybe a basic money belt.
City 3: Popayán
The women in Popayán deserve a great mention because of what they can offer and how little attention that is given online about the dating scene and women here. Specifically that…
- The women here, like the women in Bucaramanga, are some of the most faithful women you can find in the country from my experience. They really are great for having a serious relationship with when compared to places like Pereira or Cali.
- Similar to all of the cities on this list, the women here have rarely seen a foreigner so your value as a foreigner will be higher here.
- The broader culture in this city is also more conservative, making it a more ideal place in Colombia to raise a family.
- The cost of living here is relatively low given it is a much smaller city, making this a great place for simpler living on a smaller and more affordable budget.
- On top of that, there is relatively little violence here compared to other cities in Colombia. Making it safer for a visit.
One Major Downside to Popayán
Similar to Bucaramanga, this city is not the place to visit if you are looking for casual sex or a great nightlife.
There are plenty of other cities in Colombia that offer a much better nightlife with easier women for hookups – Cartagena, Pereira, Cali, Bogota and more.

City 4: Valledupar
Additionally, there is the city of Valledupar. Some of the reasons for why this city and its women are great to know are:
- Compared to other Colombian cities, the divorce rate is quite low in this area. Therefore, it makes Valledupar an ideal area for marrying a Colombian woman as the women here tend to value marriage more.
- The women here tend to dress a little bit nicer also in that they like to appear very feminine with a nice dress and makeup. Overall, women here take pride in their femininity.
- Compared to women in other cities on this list, I found women here to be a little bit curvier with better bodies to my tastes.
- As said multiple times so far, you are again going to have a greater “foreign” value in this city like in the other citiesdue to the lack of tourism. However, for Valledupar, it’s a little more than that. I also found the women here to just be friendlier and warmer than some of the women in the other cities on this list. Making it all around better in this regard.
- The women here tend to place a greater value on having a more “masculine” man in their life and don’t demonize men for being men.
One Major Downside to Valledupar
The tourism opportunities around this city are not as good in my opinion and the city itself is a bit more boring and doesn’t have as much to offer itself.
So with that said, I found myself more bored here than in other Colombian cities.
City 5: Pasto
Finally, we have the last city on this list: Pasto. Some of the benefits to visiting Pasto for the women are:
- Similar to other cities here, the women here tend to be a little more conservative and less likely to cheat.
- The women here tend to be a little more traditional and have greater value for staying at home and raising the kids from what I have seen.
- Compared to other cities in Colombia, this place is a bit bigger with a little more nightlife to enjoy and more women to meet.
- Similar to other cities on this list, you are again going to have a greater “foreign” value given the lack of tourists.
- This place has amazing touristy spots to visit such as the Las Lajas Sanctuary. For that reason, Pasto is a good place to visit in general given the fun places to visit in the area.
One Major Downside to Pasto
The women here are not as attractive as the women in other parts of Colombia
In fact, out of all the cities on this list, I’d say Pasto has the least attractive women
Mix that in with the fact that the women here tend to be a little more conservative and not as open to causal hookups compared to women in other cities in Colombia
Which, when you put those two together, makes this city the least attractive place for women out of the five cities mentioned on this list
That isn’t to say that you can’t find attractive women here
You definitely can!
However, I would visit this place only after having visited ever other city mentioned on this list if I was new to Colombia
